The Heartvertising Project creates awareness for people to start 'following their hearts'

Summary
It is something none of us want to contemplate - lying on our death bed worrying about the things we should have done. This inspired advertising agency KOKORO from Amsterdam to set up 'The heartvertising project'. An advertising campaign that reminds inhabitants of Amsterdam of their dreams and ambitions. Twelve designers, illustrators and artists created ads that would speak to the hearts of passers-by and inspire them to pursue whatever dreams they may have. The project starts February 18th and can be seen on 300 outdoor advertising panels, 100.000 Boomerang freecards and a local exhibition.

Twelve designers, illustrators and artists created ads that would speak to the hearts of passers-by and inspire them to pursue whatever dreams they may have. 

Former nursing home carer Bronnie Ware recorded the top five regrets of the dying. Perhaps unsurprisingly, most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

This inspired advertising agency KOKORO from Amsterdam to set up "The heartvertising project". They asked 12 designers, illustrators and artists to create an ad that would speak to the hearts of passers-by and inspire them to pursue whatever dreams they may have.

The founders: “Last year, we started our own advertising agency and chose to do what we love the most: connecting the hearts of brands to the hearts of people. That's why we started The Heartvertising Project and hope people will start doing what brings them the most happiness: following their hearts.”

About the project:

The heartvertising project starts February 18th throughout Amsterdam and can be seen on 300 outdoor advertising panels, 100.000 Boomerang freecards and during a local exhibition in one of Amsterdam hottest retail locations, Hutspot.
